Comparison of Performance of Solar Water Heating Systems

A study was conducted comparing performance of 3 systems of 250 lpd/60 deg. C. installed by 3 different manufacturers.

Performance of the three systems under identical conditions (these were installed in the same location) showed a large variation.
System design and installation played a major role in the performance. AVIN solar system turned in a superior performance.
